Why there are two
Putting both in one document meant a reader had to work out which half applied to them, and the answer changed from paragraph to paragraph. Keeping them apart means each policy can be short and specific about the thing you are actually using.
In short: the website reads like a brochure and behaves like one. The app is software you give information to. Those deserve separate answers.
